Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan stated:
“Thanks to the new regulation launched in Turkey within the framework of the RA-Turkey normalization process, it will now be possible to indicate the final destination or starting point of goods sent from Armenia to any third country, from there to Turkey, or from Turkey to Armenia via the same route as “Armenia/Turkey.”
In other words, direct trade between Armenia and Turkey in the customs sense, without any re-formulations, has become possible.
We continue to work towards the opening of the border, including the Gyumri-Kars railway.”
