Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran is willing to hold talks with the United States, despite current distrust of Washington.
According to the presidential press service, Pezeshkian stressed that the negotiations should proceed from a position of “dignity, wisdom, and expediency” to consolidate, on a diplomatic platform, the achievements the Iranian military has made on the battlefield.
This statement comes at a time when Donald Trump, although he described Iran’s latest proposals as unacceptable, still considers it possible to reach a diplomatic agreement.
