Zelensky should call Putin. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said this in a video posted on social networks. Fico notes that during a private conversation, Zelensky expressed a desire to meet with Putin in any format.
Robert Fico also said that he conveyed this message to the Russian side.
“I conveyed the message of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Russian President. During our personal meeting in Armenia, he told me that he is ready to meet with Putin in any format. The answer is obvious: if the Ukrainian President is interested in a meeting, he should contact his Russian counterpart by phone,” Fico said.
Recall that the Slovak Prime Minister met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on May 9.
