The second season of the Harry Potter series has been officially renewed. HBO has announced that filming will begin this fall. The second season will most likely be based on the book “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” The first season, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” is scheduled to premiere this Christmas.
Dominic McLaughlin stars as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, and Alastair Stout as Ron. It has not yet been announced who will play Lord Voldemort, but Cillian Murphy and Andy Serkis are being considered.
