Latvian President Edgars Rinkevich, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. The Latvian President was accompanied by Minister of Education, Science and Culture Zhanna Andreasyan.
Edgars Rinkevich laid a wreath at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide and laid flowers at the eternal flame.
It should be noted that on May 6, 2021, the Latvian Parliament officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide with a special statement.
