US President Donald Trump has made a harsh statement on his Truth Social page regarding the ongoing negotiations with Iran and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump noted that if Tehran fulfills the initial agreements reached, the “Epic Fury” military operation will finally end, and the strait will be open to everyone, including Iran. However, the president also warned of the consequences of possible failure.
“If they do not agree, the bombing will begin, and they will, unfortunately, be at a much higher level and intensity than they have been in the past.”
Trump added that although the implementation of the agreements is “a big assumption,” the United States is ready for both peace and an expansion of military operations, depending on Iran’s final position.
