During the official meetings held during Gevorg Gharibyan’s visit to Cambridge, the parties discussed ways to expand cooperation with Yerevan across various fields, including social protection, healthcare, housing, and education.
As a result of the discussions, several preliminary agreements were reached on the prevention of gender-based violence, the reduction of homelessness, combating addictions, and the development of mental health services. We also plan to train specialists and explore the possibility of localizing international experience in Yerevan.
During the meetings, the Mayor of Cambridge was invited to visit Yerevan on a working visit in October 2026. As a sign of appreciation of the friendship and cooperation between the sister cities of Yerevan and Cambridge, G. Gharibyan, on behalf of the Mayor of Yerevan, presented the Mayor of Cambridge with a souvenir of Argishti.
