The Devil Wears Prada 2 topped the box office this weekend, earning $77 million in the United States and Canada and $156.6 million worldwide.
The film was shown in about 4,150 theaters, and the majority of the audience was female (about 76%). 74% of them said they would recommend the film. Michael came in second, earning $54 million in its second weekend and already grossing more than $423 million worldwide.
This weekend marks the start of Hollywood’s summer season, and total box office revenues have grown by about 14% this year, reaching $2.8 billion.
