The performance was part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour. Shakira performed her famous songs, including “Hips Don’t Lie,” “La Tortura,” and “La Bicicleta.”
During the concert, the singer also spoke about the power of women, highlighting their resilience.
Such events in Brazil are also intended to boost the economy; estimates suggest the concert could generate about $155 million in revenue from tourism and services.
