The delegation led by the President of Greece, Konstantinos Tasoulas, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to the Republic of Armenia, Christos Sofianopoulos.
The guests were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum, Hrachya Tashchyan. He presented the history, meaning, and significance of the creation of the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and also touched upon Memorial Complex, noting that it symbolizes the rebirth of the Armenian people.
Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas laid a wreath at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which the other members of the delegation laid flowers at the eternal flame and honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence.
