At the general discussion of the 11th Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the Armenian delegation reaffirmed Armenia’s strong commitment to the Treaty. It stressed the need for tangible steps to advance disarmament efforts and reduce the risks of nuclear conflict. The Armenian Mission reported this to the UN.
The delegation also emphasized the International Atomic Energy Agency’s important role in promoting international cooperation on nuclear security issues.
