A tragic incident occurred during a vacation in Egypt. A 57-year-old German tourist died from a snake bite during a snake show. The incident occurred at a hotel on the Red Sea coast in Hurghada, where the man and his family attended a show as part of an entertainment program. It involved two snakes, allegedly cobras, which were brought close to the audience during the performance.
According to police, the tragedy occurred when one of the snakes got into the man’s clothes and bit his leg. After that, he had severe symptoms of poisoning and lost consciousness. Although he was urgently taken to the hospital, doctors were unable to save his life.
According to experts, snake bites cause tens of thousands of deaths worldwide every year, and in many cases also cause disability or long-term health problems.
