Amazon is considering a possible reboot of the popular reality show “The Apprentice” on its Prime Video platform, The Wall Street Journal reports. According to reports, this version may feature US President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., as the host, rather than Trump himself. Amazon noted that the project is not yet in active development and is only at the preliminary internal discussion stage.
A company representative said that after the acquisition of MGM, there were ideological discussions about the possible revival of “The Apprentice”, but no final decisions have been made, and the reported names are not confirmed. If the project is implemented, it will be another step for Amazon to involve the Trump family in its content projects. Earlier, a documentary about Melania Trump was released on the platform, sparking widespread discussion. The project has not yet been officially approved and is still in discussion.
