The United States’ war in Iran has cost the country $25 billion to date, Pentagon spokesman Jules Hurst said.
He told members of the House Armed Services Committee that most of that money has been spent on munitions. Hurst did not specify exactly what was included in that estimate, or whether it included the projected costs of rebuilding and repairing infrastructure at military bases damaged by the conflict in the Middle East.
