Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that “peace efforts are continuing” in the Middle East, even as talks between the United States and Iran appear to have reached a deadlock.
In a statement released by his office, Sharif stressed that it was thanks to the enormous efforts that the ceasefire regime was extended and remains in place.
“The steps towards peace are ongoing, and there will be no letup in them,” the Pakistani prime minister said, reaffirming his country’s commitment to regional stability.
