The New National Gallery in Berlin has presented a new work by American artist Bipple (Mike Winkelmann) called “Regular Animals”;
The exhibition features robot dogs with heads modeled after famous people, including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and others.
The robots move around the museum, photograph their surroundings, and print images generated by artificial intelligence. These images show how different “images” can change the perception of the same reality: for example, Picasso’s dog creates cubist-style images, and Warhol’s creates pop art.
The exhibition organizers note that museums should help people understand how artificial intelligence is changing our lives and thinking.
