A 21-year-old man in Austria has admitted in court that he planned to carry out a jihadist attack at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna in August 2024. According to the investigation, the suspect was associated with the ideology of the Islamic State terrorist group, received instructions for making explosive devices online, and tried to acquire weapons and grenades. Austrian police found a nearly complete explosive device in his home.
