The Prime Minister’s Spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, stated:
“Several media outlets have spread ‘information’ that an agreement has been reached within the framework of the demarcation process, according to which Armenia will transfer the village of Jiliza to the enlarged community of Alaverdi.
Any statement, idea, or “information” about the intention, plan, or agreement to transfer any part of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia to any other country cannot correspond to reality, by its very nature.
Therefore, as before, we have denied, deny, and will deny any publication with such content, due to their being fabricated.”
