On April 14, in Brussels, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with EU Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the dynamic expansion of the Armenia-EU partnership.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Andrius Kubilius exchanged views on the prospects for recent developments in cooperation in the security and defense sector. Both sides emphasized that the significant progress made by Armenia in implementing democratic reforms, as well as the adoption of the strategic agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership, have formed a new vision and opportunities for cooperation.
They discussed the high-level events scheduled for May in Yerevan, including the agenda items for the Armenia-EU summit.
The Armenian Foreign Minister and the EU Commissioner exchanged views on regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan presented the work aimed at further institutionalizing the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
