Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan touched upon the TRIPP project.
According to him, despite the “not so favorable processes, to put it mildly,” ongoing in the world and the region, bilateral work between the Republic of Armenia and the United States on the implementation of TRIPP continues.
“Now it is still the documentation stage, and in essence we are at the stage of agreeing on an intergovernmental agreement,” he said, adding: “Let’s hope that as soon as possible we will enter the next, construction stage, and this is where we will need third partners. Of course, the agreement will be bilateral, the agreement and the project are bilateral, I mean the Republic of Armenia and the United States, but we will also need partners during the construction stage, and in essence, during the system management stage.”
Mirzoyan also said that although this is a bilateral project, it stems from the interests of many countries, from China to Portugal.
