Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also agreed to declare a ceasefire for the Easter holiday and signed a corresponding decree.
“Ukraine has repeatedly stated that it is ready for mirror steps. This year, we have proposed declaring a ceasefire during the Easter holidays and will act accordingly,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
President Zelensky stressed that people should have an Easter without threats and a real movement towards peace.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a ceasefire for the Easter holiday. It will come into effect from 16:00 on April 11 until the end of April 12.
