Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which the leaders discussed the ceasefire and the security situation in the region.
During the conversation, Erdogan noted that Turkey, together with interested countries, is making intensive efforts to achieve a ceasefire. According to him, the negotiations that will begin in the coming days should be used to the fullest extent possible to achieve lasting peace and stability.
The Turkish President stressed the importance of not giving those who want to disrupt the peace process an opportunity and assured support in this new phase.
