On April 9, at 22:44 local time (18:44 GMT), the seismological network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded a 3.3 magnitude earthquake with a depth of 10 km in the Armenia-Georgia border zone, 17 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at geographical coordinates 41.17⁰ north latitude and 44.00⁰ east longitude.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter zone was 4-5 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, and Ashotsk in the Shirak region, as well as in the villages of Paghaghbyur and Noramut in the Lori region, with a magnitude of 3.
