The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has officially announced that an airstrike in Beirut killed Ali Youssef Harshi, the personal secretary and advisor to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem.
The targeted strike was carried out in the Tallet Khayat neighborhood of the Lebanese capital, outside the Dahiyeh neighborhood, considered the group’s main stronghold.
According to the military, Harashi was not only a confidant of Qassem but also his cousin, who played a key role in managing the leader’s office and security.
In parallel, the Israeli Air Force carried out overnight strikes on two “central” crossings over the Litani River. According to the Israeli side, these routes were used by Hezbollah to transport thousands of weapons, missiles, and launchers to southern Lebanon.
