Artemis 2’s space toilet works, but there’s another problem

The toilet on the Orion spacecraft of the Artemis 2 mission to orbit the moon is still working, but the crew is having trouble flushing the accumulated urine into space. The toilet has garnered special attention as it marks the first usage beyond Earth’s orbit. Earlier, astronauts used special carry-on bags during Apollo 17 and other Apollo missions.
