The United States and Iran reached a ceasefire agreement thanks to Vance and China, an Associated Press correspondent reported, citing an official from one of the mediating countries.
According to Farnoush Amiri, Washington brought Vice President Vance into the talks late Tuesday night, and China, in turn, helped Iran accept the deal.
