Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has congratulated the country’s people on the “historic victory” in an official statement. According to the statement, the United States has committed itself in principle to fulfilling several key demands, including non-aggression guarantees, maintaining Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, and recognizing Iran’s right to enrich uranium.
The document also calls for the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, the suspension of UN Security Council and IAEA Board of Governors resolutions, and compensation for damages caused to Iran.
According to the Iranian side, the agreements reached also include the withdrawal of American combat units from the region and the cessation of the war on all fronts, including the Lebanese Resistance.
The Council emphasized that over the past 40 days, Iran and its so-called “Axis of Resistance” – represented by fighters from Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Palestine – have inflicted unprecedented blows on the enemy, forcing the latter to accept Iran’s will.
