Russian scientists plan to find traces of life on Venus in the second half of the 2030s as part of the Venera D project, the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.
According to scientists, their main focus will be on studying Venus. Scientific data suggest that about 3 billion years ago, there was water on the surface of Venus, and even life arose. Currently, this is not the case, but traces of life and complex organic compounds can be found. For this purpose, the Venera D project will be implemented in 2036 and will include a lander and a rover.
