The US military carried out “dozens” of strikes on military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, a senior US official told Fox News, noting that the operation was carried out without the involvement of ground troops.
In response to the strikes and the threat of infrastructure loss, Iranian authorities have called on young people and intellectuals to form “human chains” around the country’s power plants in an attempt to protect them from possible new attacks.
