According to the latest Financial Times figures on financial losses and military spending, the war against Iran is costing the United States hundreds of millions of dollars a day.
The total cost of the five-week military campaign is estimated at between $22.3 billion and $31 billion. These estimates also include the cost of deploying additional US forces to the Middle East since late December.
The loss of military equipment accounts for about a tenth of the total cost, ranging from $2.1 billion to $3.6 billion. Experts express concern about the destruction of expensive systems, despite the relatively small loss of workforce and equipment compared to other conflicts.
In particular, the damage to American radars makes the United States more vulnerable in future potential conflicts, and some systems may take years to restore.
