US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said the US should withdraw its troops from European countries that have refused to allow US forces to use their bases.
The US Secretary of State also added that the US would not rush to assist if Russia attacked European countries.
“If Europe refuses to allow us to use the bases that we maintain and, if necessary, fund their defense, we should close them and withdraw our troops from Europe. If Russia attacks them, we can discuss whether we have time to help,” he said.
