The administrative session of City Hall discussed the English-language groups in the schools of the capital cities, which were formed on the initiative of Mayor Tigran Avinyan. It was noted that at one school, the number of students wishing to improve their spoken English exceeds the number already enrolled.
The Mayor instructed that the program be significantly expanded and the number of schools increased. “The number of students within the same schools must be increased,” he said, adding that the goal is to increase the number of students from 300 to 3,000.
