In response to threats from US President Donald Trump, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia military, Ali Abdullahi, has vowed that if the US and Israel carry out further strikes on Iranian infrastructure, “the gates of hell will open.”
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran has two days to open the Strait of Hormuz or reach an agreement with the US. He said that after that period, “hell awaits Iran.”
“We will not hesitate for a second and will deploy our armed forces to defend the rights of our people and national values, putting any aggressor in its place,” Abdullahi said, according to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
He stressed that in the event of further attacks by the US and Israel, Iran will attack any infrastructure used by those countries.
“From the first days of the war, we have fulfilled everything we promised. “Abdullahi concluded with the message, “The gates of hell will open before you.”
