Putin and Erdogan noted that tensions around Iran are leading to negative consequences, particularly for the energy sector. The parties discussed further steps to expand Russian-Turkish political, trade, and economic ties.
The leaders noted the importance of coordinating steps, given Kyiv’s attempts to attack gas pipelines in the Black Sea. Putin and Erdogan noted their common positions on the need for a quick ceasefire in the Persian Gulf.
