According to the Windward maritime intelligence company, there has been an increase in cargo traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. On Wednesday, 16 ships passed through the strait, which is the third consecutive daily increase.
All ships used the Larak Island route, which, according to experts, indicates agreements reached with Iran and a possible acceleration of transit rates in the near future.
Despite these positive dynamics, traffic is still significantly lower than usual: before the war that began on February 28, about 130 ships passed through daily; now, this number is only a small fraction of the previous volume.
