Real Madrid and Uruguay midfielder Federico Valverde has spoken about having a voice problem as a teenager. The Uruguayan explained why he spoke in Mickey Mouse’s “voice” during his famous interview at Uruguayan club Peñarol.
He said he had a throat problem that he couldn’t solve for a long time due to financial problems.
“I had a throat problem. It seems amusing now, but at the time I was a child, and I was hesitant to speak in public,” he said.
