Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi spoke by telephone with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. During the conversation, bilateral relations and regional and international processes were discussed.
“The ministers discussed in detail the developments related to the conflict in the Middle East, the efforts of several states to reduce tensions, and exchanged views on the progress of the UN Security Council discussions on ensuring the safety of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and ways to overcome other consequences of the US and Israeli aggression against Iran,” the statement said.
