Authorities in Iran’s Alborz province have announced that the Kerej B1 bridge was targeted in a US-Israeli attack. The Iranian side describes the project as an engineering masterpiece and one of the most complex structures in the world, scheduled to be put into operation in the near future.
The attack damaged the bridge, considered one of the most important road infrastructures in the province, and also caused power supply problems in nearby regions.
Specialists from the local energy company are now working to restore power, and official sources emphasize that the attack was carried out to damage the country’s strategic infrastructure.
