US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker announced that the White House has initiated a comprehensive review of all of the country’s major international commitments.
Whitaker emphasized that a thorough analysis of the appropriateness of participation in global alliances and conflicts characterizes current US policy.
“President Trump is evaluating and reevaluating everything. This includes our involvement in NATO, our backing for European initiatives in Ukraine, and any other endeavors the United States is involved in. Everything is under review,” he stated.
