Israel has removed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf from its list of targets as a result of talks between Pakistan and the United States. According to a Pakistani official who told Reuters, Israel already had the officials’ exact coordinates. It was preparing to eliminate them, but Islamabad warned Washington that such a move would eliminate any possibility of diplomatic dialogue.
As a result, the United States appealed to the Israeli side, demanding that it withdraw from this plan to avoid further unforeseen escalation in the region and preserve the channels of negotiation.
