Iran is strengthening its defenses on Kharg Island in preparation for a possible US ground attack, CNN reported, citing sources.
“Recently, Iran has placed booby traps on Kharg Island, including anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, as well as deployed additional military personnel, air defenses, and surface-to-air missile systems in preparation for a possible US operation to seize control of the island,” the statement said.
