After more than half a century, humans are once again preparing to travel to the Moon. The Artemis II mission will take four astronauts on a dangerous but historic journey of more than 500,000 miles, circling the Moon and returning to Earth. The mission is expected to reveal previously unknown facts regarding the lunar environment and pave the way for future missions that could land humans and even establish a permanent base on the Moon.
