Vahram Atanesyan, a former member of the Supreme Council of Armenia and a member of the National Assembly of the NKR, wrote on his Facebook page:
“How many times must the truth, as simple as daylight, be repeated? Is Armenia changing its constitution or not? Aliyev remains indifferent to the situation. He says that he will not sign the peace treaty if the Armenian constitution retains the provision containing territorial claims against Azerbaijan. And this is not just his view; other countries, including Armenia’s allies, agree. What is the point of speculating on the issue?
There is a government that goes to parliamentary elections to secure a constitutional majority, then holds a constitutional referendum. And it says that the revision of the previously signed agreement with Azerbaijan “opens the door to war.” Let these people focus and make their decision. “If the KP does not win the elections and a constitutional referendum does not take place, relations with Azerbaijan will return to the pre-Washington level and rhetoric. There are no two opinions here.”
