The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said that no one can trust US diplomacy. According to him, Iran has had a terrible experience, as even during negotiations, it was attacked twice in nine months, which he described as a betrayal of diplomacy.
He also noted that there are currently no negotiations or contacts between Iran and the United States, and that the country’s armed forces are focused on protecting its territorial integrity.
“It was a betrayal of diplomacy, and it happened not once, but twice. There is no dialogue or negotiations between Iran and the United States, and the Iranian armed forces are focused on protecting the country’s territory,” he said.
The spokesman added that Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf acts within the framework of the powers established by the Constitution, and the division of roles between the authorities in Iran is clear and established.
