Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia’s massive night and day drone attacks on Ukraine indicate that Moscow is not going to end the war.
“The scale of this attack obviously shows that Russia has no intention of actually ending this war. And if we take into account that Russia is also helping the Iranian regime strike throughout the region, then the conclusion is quite obvious: without additional and strong pressure on Russia, without significant losses for them, there will be no desire in Moscow to leave the war, to return to peace,” Zelensky said.
On Tuesday afternoon, Russia launched a massive attack with kamikaze-type drones on almost the entire territory of Ukraine. In Lviv, more than 20 people sustained injuries, and the “Shahed” drone struck a 16th-century Bernardine monastery. Such attacks usually occur at night, and Ukrainian experts suggest that the strike is a new tactic of the Russian army.
