The Kyokushin Karate Armenia Cup tournament was held in Yerevan and also served as a qualifying round for Armenian athletes before the “World Cup 2026” international tournament. 423 athletes in 6 age groups participated in the tournament.
The crowded stands created a tense, exciting atmosphere for the competitions. The athletes who took the prize places will have the opportunity to participate in the World Cup tournament to be held in Yerevan on April 25-26.
The athletes of the Kyokushin Karate Federation of Armenia will also compete in the European Cup tournament, which will be held in Riga, the capital of Latvia, in the coming weekends.
