A rare purple star sapphire, believed to be the largest of its kind, has been unveiled in Sri Lanka. The owners of the 3,563-carat purple star sapphire went on display in the country’s capital, Colombo, on Saturday. The precious stone is estimated to be worth at least $300 million, and its owners are ready to sell it.
