US President Donald Trump has announced that Washington and Tehran have had “very productive and constructive” discussions over the past two days. According to the president, the parties are seeking a complete and final cessation of hostilities in the region.
“Over the past two days, the United States and Iran have had excellent and constructive talks on a complete cessation of hostilities in the Middle East.
I have ordered a five-day suspension of all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure, pending the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions,” Truth wrote on his social media page.
According to him, the talks will continue this week.
