Inter owners are ready to allow the club’s management to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan a new contract.
According to the Italian authoritative Corriere dello Sport, the American fund Oaktree, which owns the club, is ready to make an exception.
The publication says that the company has set the club a goal of rejuvenating the squad and attracting more young players. The only exception to this policy is for Mkhitaryan.
Players such as Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, Yan Sommer, and Stefan de Vrij are likely to leave San Siro.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has less than six months left on his current contract, and the club would try to keep him for another year, but at a more modest salary.
