A new round of peace talks with Russia could take place in the United States on Tuesday or Wednesday if Moscow agrees, Zelensky said.
According to the Ukrainian president, the main topic of discussion will be the territorial issue. The issue is the US proposal to create a free economic zone in the eastern part of the Donetsk region.
According to him, the US is proposing to create a free economic zone in Donbas as a buffer, but both Ukraine and Russia are skeptical of this idea. Kyiv insists that control over any zone on Ukrainian territory should remain with Ukraine.
